During our last visit to one of our fabric mills in Italy, we took advantage of a weekend in Rome. Filled with sunshine, pasta, gelato, espressos, and some shopping. From iconic tourist attractions to hidden gems, we explored the beautiful city with long walks through Rome's cobblestone streets.

Frigidarium
A few steps from Piazza Navona, this gelateria uses all-natural ingredients and serves the best gelato in town since 1988. 

Trattoria Da Enzo al 29
Cute spot for a date night, at a family-run trattoria. Tucked away in Trastevere by the river, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu, but the fried artichokes and cacio e pepe are particularly hard to pass up.

Armando al Pantheon
Armando al Pantheon provides unobstructed views of the Pantheon and its famous rigatoni all'amatriciana is simply divine. 

Prosciutteria Cantina dei Papi - Trevi
When you need a break after shopping at renowned Rinascente, this Italian sandwich shop is just around the corner. Imagine the most wonderful fresh bread filled with numerous tasty options to choose from.

A visit of their exhibition is truly worth it, it’s simply magical. Also the garden is perfect for a morning run.

Nestled between the Spanish Steps and Piazza del Popolo, the charming, cobblestoned Via Margutta is renowned as the artists' street. Historically a hub for artists like Picasso, it remains home to numerous art galleries today.
